Shaadi Story: Ahana's sangeet

Ahana chose a seafoam lehenga by Neeta Lulla for the event. I'm normally not hugely fond of spangly florals, but she is the bride-to-be, so all is appropriate in this case. The sheer net dupatta and sleeves do help to balance the look.

Meanwhile, Esha went in the opposite direction of her sister. Where Ahana opted for cool shades, Esha (in Shyamal and Bhumika) went with warm tones and gold overlay. A fitting contrast, I think.
As far as the guys go, Vaibhav's jacket with jodhpurs is a bold choice. It puts me in mind of a polo match. Meanwhile, Bharat's sherwani seems a bit disjointed - black pants would have enhanced the beautiful purple.
Re my comment about the arm sling - it's a legit question (see Preity Zinta for further support). Here's an obligatory family shot (minus Dharmendra). Good looking bunch, na? Madam Hema - as usual - brings it in another gorgeous sari. The woman seems to be incapable of making a misstep.

So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
