Ekta Kapoor Diwali Party I

Best in Sari
Prachi's net sari (by Kunal Anil Tanna) was elegant with a fun, festive punch thanks to the contrasting border. Sakshi was lovely too in that typical Diwali color combo of beige and red. Meghna was disappointing. The sari itself was not great, but her matching blue eyeshadow really sealed the deal for mediocrity.
Best in Salwaar Kurta
Shilpa wore her heavily embellished anarkali by Preeti S. Kapoor with grace by keeping her hair low-key and accessories to a minimum. Huma's suit (SVA by Paras) was simpler, but still Diwali-appropriate thanks to the deep blue, hot pink, and purple accents. While I do like Anu's suit (classic AB-SK), I feel the black was a little sober for a Diwali party.

As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
