Kajal Quest: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil.

As you all know, I have been on a quest to find the perfect eye pencil that is long-wearing, smudge resistant with a nice dark pigment. The MUA/salesperson at Sephora assured me that this one was a must-try - "particularly for lining the waterline" she all but sang. I thought: "what the heck?" and shelled out USD 18 for the pencil. So not worth it.
First quibble: it's a pencil that requires sharpening - what a drag. I much prefer the self-sharpening automatic pencils. But ok, I moved on. The brand boasts that this pencil will "deliver powerful, vibrant color that slides on smooth ... then dries to a long-lasting finish that won't budge." The only truth in this statement IMHO is the gliding on smoothly part. Other than that, it wouldn't matter if color lasted 5 days because the pigmentation was so lacking that even though I reinforced the line multiple times (thus defeating the benefit of a nice, smooth application), I could hardly see any color. In fairness, I will say that this pencil was slightly more pigmented than Tarte's EmphasEYES but that's not saying a whole lot.

Meet Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan

The young, beautiful, and fashionable Queen of Bhutan, a country secluded from the world's limelight due to its remoteness, has already been generating a stir ever since her marriage to the King and her rise to the position of Queen Consort. So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
