How Apropos.

MAK attended a special screening of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara for the Khan family. Without being OTT, she made a patriotic fashion statement. I love that she wore the tiranga colors - I think people will appreciate the gesture. On a related note, I understand that these sorts of screenings are fairly casual affairs (kinda like you or me attending a matinee but minus the VIP treatment), but MAK doesn't succumb to the too-cas bug. She is certainly dressed casually, but she's not sloppy (i.e. certain celebs who attend screenings in sweatpants). Also, I love how her hair is carelessly pulled into a braid and that she doesn't have on a spot of makeup but still looks stunning. That is true beauty, na?

Agreed, Classy! It's not easy rocking the triranga colors without veering into Aunty ji's Independence Day musical extravaganza territory. Nice to see her looking natural.

So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
