Royal Ruckus.

I really love London and British history is fascinating so of course I love hearing anything about the Royals. In anticpation of the nuptials of Wills and Kate, I was perusing photographs of another royal fashion icon (no, not Queen Elizabeth), the late Princess Di. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I came across this lovely photograph of Diana in a salwaar kameez. She wore this ivory suit with delicate beadwork (a gift from friend Jemima Khan - former missus of Imran) at a 1996 benefit in London. Just goes to show you - fashionable people generally have taste that is refined across all types of attire and always, always ooze confidence. Photo: uppa-ipol/globe.

However, on a fun and superficial level, she has also drawn favorable comparisons to the Duchess of Cambridge, so much so, that she is sometimes referred to as the "Kate Middleton of the Himalayas".
So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
