Mad Hatter.

With the royal mega-wedding mere days away, it's hard not to notice the impact fashionable Kate is already having on global fashions. The Brit royals have long had a fetish for fascinators and toppers bordering on the well...mad. However, it is Kate who is influencing a slew of interest in the oft-ignored accessory: the hat. Piggy appears to be channeling Kate's appearance for William's induction into the Order of the Garter. I think Piggy's attire at a promotional event for 7 Khoon Maaf is deliberately giving off a funereal vibe given the film's title. You like? I think it's a good first time effort for Piggy Chops, however it is quite tame with its black on black coordination. And that topper is not exactly whimsical. For that, we can check out - who else? - princess-to-be Kate at a couple of weddings. Fascinators are fully intended to be fantastical with pieces designed to flutter about madly at the slightest provocation. Thus, they are not for the shy, wallflower type personality. As Kate ably demonstrates, you have to own the piece in order to avoid being overpowered by it.Photos: getty, mark stewart/camera press/retna, tim graham/getty.
