She's Baaaaack!

Oh, Divya D., how we've missed you and your woefully inept style sense! Seriously, darling, it has been too long! Divya made an incompetent (well at least from a sartorial perspective) appearance at the premiere of Do Dooni Chaar and let's just say that when my claws need sharpening, we can always count on D.D. to provide ample fodder! So? Now that you've had a dekho. Let's do a quick breakdown. The skirt's not actually half bad (for her standards; by normal person standards it's still rather cheap looking). But that too-tight cami is clearly a ... errrr. How do I say this delicately? It is a "foundational garment", you git! And as such, it is meant to be layered underneath something, like gee. I don't know. A blouse, perhaps?!? As worn by D.D., it reminds us that she evidently forgot a proper top, and also draws attention to the fact that she has squeezed her ample knockers into a too-small bra. Div, don't be so mean to your girls - they deserve better!Don't get me wrong - the nude color is fine. Had she opted for something more substantial, like a sequined shell, it would've been passable, even - dare I say - fashionable. Now those booties. Ahhh the booties. They are a valiant but ultimately unsuccessful attempt at riding last season's bootie craze. Normally a very chic addition, but here they just add to the overall "what the hell were you thinking" vibe of D.D's attire. Finally, can I just say that I absolutely abhor plastic mardi gras beads? The only acceptable venue for these would be if you were hanging from a lamp post, hammered on Bourbon Street. Photos: getty.

Oh my gosh - thanks for writing in with that info. I agree, still doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but at least we don't have to worry that MM lost all sense of style with this one!

Meet Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan

The young, beautiful, and fashionable Queen of Bhutan, a country secluded from the world's limelight due to its remoteness, has already been generating a stir ever since her marriage to the King and her rise to the position of Queen Consort. She is a powerhouse in her own right, and much loved by the Bhutanese people. However, on a fun and superficial level, she has also drawn favorable comparisons to the Duchess of Cambridge, so much so, that she is sometimes referred to as the "Kate Middleton of the Himalayas".
So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…

Looking for a DiorShow Extase dupe

Getting 3 kiddos fed, dressed, and out the door on time on school mornings, is challenging on a good day. Between prepping breakfasts, packing lunches, double checking bags for homework, and generally refereeing Big A and S while simultaneously holding or nursing Little A, means I have precious little time to make myself presentable. As a result, mascara has taken the front and center stage of my makeup routine for rushed mornings because who has time to carefully paint on eyeliner?!
1. DiorShow Extase (discontinued) 2. IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara
I was crushed when Dior discontinued their Extase mascara. I adored it. The brush had the perfect shape, and unlike DiorShow or Blackout, this formulation was amenable to multiple, clump-free coats. Unfortunately, none of the current offerings in the Dior mascara lineup feature a similar brush to Extase. IT Cosmetics offered a comparable brush and sounded like it might be a good dupe. On the positive side, the m…

Two Faced Mascara Melt-Off

**UPDATED** We all love mascara that doesn't budge, but who enjoys nightly battles with mascara removal? Not I. Which is why I was excited to give this product a whirl. It promises quick, easy, and effective mascara removal. I simply applied a coat to my lashes using the kind of wand you would expect for lower lash mascaras. I let the product remain on my lashes as I washed my face (approx. two minutes). I used a cotton pad soaked in my favorite eye-makeup remover to gently sweep off the mascara.
The Mascara Melt-Off definitely speeds up the mascara removal process, with significantly less tugging and rubbing of lashes. I felt that the results were a more thorough mascara removal than makeup remover alone.

That said, the directions stated to use a cotton pad to wipe off the mascara; but I found that you most definitely need to soak the pad in your usual remover. Also, I should note that I tested it on non-waterproof mascara. I have no idea how effective it would be in the case of …
