Bollywood Hits Times Square.

It's Thursday, which means it is not-Friday. Here's a lil' somethin' somethin' that should cheer you up or at least provoke a few giggles. It's a promotional stunt for Christ Kattan's Bollywood Hero, a three-part miniseries airing on IFC. It also stars an authentic Bolly export, Neha Dhupia. But more on this later! For now, check out this clip (in which both Kattan and Dhupia make cameos) of enthusiastic dancers breaking out in full-fledged dance at Times Square ... it's in the vein of that group of performers who broke into choreographed dance at a mall .... I should warn you, the choreography is a little bland (and it looks like they didn't have much lead time for rehearsing either); it's not exactly the work of Farah Khan, and it's not exactly Bollywood either. I term this genre of dance "American Bollywood" because it just doesn't seem authentic to me. It's cropping up everywhere these days! Remember the Oscars and Leno? But, that being said, it should make you smile nonetheless. Enjoy!

So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
