Khaas Baat.

And you thought IPL cricket fashion would be my only foray into the sports arena. Let's step onto the tennis courts, shall we (well figuratively, anyway)? Tennis ace Sania Mirza got engaged to childhood pal Sohrab Mirza in a ceremony held recently in Hyderabad. The BBC reports:
According to the family sources, Sohrab Mirza, son of local businessman Adil Mirza, put an exquisite diamond ring - worth $205,000 - onto Ms Mirza's finger and also offered family jewellery as a mark of his affection.
Sania wore a teal and gold lehnga by designer duo Shantanu & Nikhil and looked absolutely exquisite! Love that she's all business on the court, but has a ultra-glam streak as well. I'll swap in full length pics if I can find 'em. In the meantime, heartiest congratulations to the young couple! Hat tip, "bubbles".

She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
