So Hot And So Not.

At the Firaaq premiere in Mumbai, we got a glimpse of how to dress for a premiere as well as the opposite of how to dress for a premiere. Nandita Das was absolutely radiant in her black silk sari with reddish pink border. Love love love it! Needless to say, the sari was perfectly pleated and accented with a fun batua and Nandita's favorite tribal inspired necklace.Neetu Chandra, on the other hand, was in one word, a disaster. Her entire "look" (if you can even call it that) was totally dumpy and ill-fitting. Her denims are too snug (which creates the impression that she's heavier than she actually is), and oddly tapered and cuffed. As elegant and graceful as Nandita is in her sari, Neetu is totally not. Her too-teeny tank is grossly inappropriate for a premiere as it's so small that it rides up resulting in a midriff show which is a total no no for any event. So let's review. Too small top, too tight jeans but the belt ... the belt is too big. I've run out of words so I don't even know what to say about her black sneakers. Sneakers? On a red carpet? Oh hell.Photo Source.

So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…
