Makeup Meltdown.

For starters, since St. Patty's Day was just last week, I am going to give Nigar the benefit of the doubt and just assume that the Stardust Bar launch bash coincided with the greenest of all holidays. That would explain her green on green ensemble (which I'm none too fond of, but whatevs). What I want to talk about, is her garish makeup for this event. Ok clearly, it being St. Patrick's Day and all (if it wasn't, then humor me!), she wanted to emphasize the green with bold eye shadow. Fine. In this case, I'm not keen on going all matchy with eye makeup and clothes, but ok. It's overkill because she's paired the heavy duty eye makeup with freaky green lenses (gah!), streaks of peach blush, and bubblegum pink lips. Ok first of all, blush is not war paint. Therefore, it should be lightly dusted on so as to accentuate the cheekbones. The way Nigar does blush, it's more like a bright neon sign flashing "cheekbones here". The bubblegum pink on desi complexions is just a plain ol' mistake in my book. It's too cool to go with warm skin tones. That being said, if you want to go with a majorly made up look, that's fine. Just pick one (and only one) feature to emphasize. With her shamrock colored eye shadow and heavy liner, she should have opted for nude lips and well blended blush.
