Where In The World Is Aishwarya?

Paris, Madrid, Berlin. La Rai's had a whirlwind European tour promoting Pink Panther 2 or La Pantera Rosa 2, if you prefer. Let's take a look at some of her appearances. One thing is clear: girl loves her pant suits!

Looks like La Rai borrowed a coat from Amitabh's velvet collection. The length of the coat and the heavy material are the opposite of flattering. She's completely overwhelmed by that blasted coat. You'll notice that at most of these events, Aishwarya has maintained the same makeup look - she knows what works on her, and with such a tight schedule, I see the merit in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Her hair in Paris was essentially her go-to look: wavey and side parted.Photo Credit: Francois Durand/Getty Images Europe.
I must say, I like the color of her suit for the Madrid photo call. It's unusual, and not as severe as black for a daytime event. The big news here, is her hair! She went for sleek, straight, and teased at the crown. Love it!Photo Credit: Carlos Alvarez/Getty Images Europe.
At the Berlin Film Festival photo call, Aish went with a basic black suit - it's well tailored and fits her well so no complaints there. Hair this time was sleek and side-parted. On the red carpet, La Rai was absolutely dazzling! She went with a bold, in-your-face hot pink. The gown could have been just slightly longer, I feel. Or she could have paired it with bejeweled flats. Love that she went necklace-free since the gown has such heavy detailing. Her sparkly, chandelier earrings were the perfect touch. Hair-wise, she stuck to the familiar tousled waves. Update: Aish wore a modified Roberto Cavalli to the Berlin Film Fest red carpet.Photo Credit: Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images Europe. As an aside, for some reason Aishwarya's caught some flak in the past for posing with the traditional namaste greeting while wearing western clothes at international events. I guess some critics feel like she's overplaying the good Indian girl persona. Personally, I see nothing wrong with it. In fact, as you can see in the Berlin photos, it's very classy and tasteful. It's not like she's wearing something totally scandalous and posing with the sweet smile and respectful namaste. Aishwarya is one of the most visible and internationally recognized celebrities, as far as I'm concerned, she's being genuine when she namastes and she's just keepin' it real!

Meet Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan

The young, beautiful, and fashionable Queen of Bhutan, a country secluded from the world's limelight due to its remoteness, has already been generating a stir ever since her marriage to the King and her rise to the position of Queen Consort. She is a powerhouse in her own right, and much loved by the Bhutanese people. However, on a fun and superficial level, she has also drawn favorable comparisons to the Duchess of Cambridge, so much so, that she is sometimes referred to as the "Kate Middleton of the Himalayas".
So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…

Looking for a DiorShow Extase dupe

Getting 3 kiddos fed, dressed, and out the door on time on school mornings, is challenging on a good day. Between prepping breakfasts, packing lunches, double checking bags for homework, and generally refereeing Big A and S while simultaneously holding or nursing Little A, means I have precious little time to make myself presentable. As a result, mascara has taken the front and center stage of my makeup routine for rushed mornings because who has time to carefully paint on eyeliner?!
1. DiorShow Extase (discontinued) 2. IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara
I was crushed when Dior discontinued their Extase mascara. I adored it. The brush had the perfect shape, and unlike DiorShow or Blackout, this formulation was amenable to multiple, clump-free coats. Unfortunately, none of the current offerings in the Dior mascara lineup feature a similar brush to Extase. IT Cosmetics offered a comparable brush and sounded like it might be a good dupe. On the positive side, the m…

Two Faced Mascara Melt-Off

**UPDATED** We all love mascara that doesn't budge, but who enjoys nightly battles with mascara removal? Not I. Which is why I was excited to give this product a whirl. It promises quick, easy, and effective mascara removal. I simply applied a coat to my lashes using the kind of wand you would expect for lower lash mascaras. I let the product remain on my lashes as I washed my face (approx. two minutes). I used a cotton pad soaked in my favorite eye-makeup remover to gently sweep off the mascara.
The Mascara Melt-Off definitely speeds up the mascara removal process, with significantly less tugging and rubbing of lashes. I felt that the results were a more thorough mascara removal than makeup remover alone.

That said, the directions stated to use a cotton pad to wipe off the mascara; but I found that you most definitely need to soak the pad in your usual remover. Also, I should note that I tested it on non-waterproof mascara. I have no idea how effective it would be in the case of …
