It's Too Early For Halloween.

*Updates Below* At the Jewels of Queenie store launch at Peddar Road in Mumbai, Madhoo wore a sheath-style LBD - it's almost a universally flattering shape. I could do without the giant florals though ... a bit reminiscent of upholstery, no?Vidya arrived in a very familiar silhouette. While I love this black anarkali, seeing as her last two outings (Stardust Awards, Sanjay Dutt party) both involved anarkalis, I was hoping to see her change things up a bit.Queenie Dhody looks great in her gold, satin halter-style floor length number; though I'm rarely a fan of satin. If you must wear satin, the key is to go for body skimming not body hugging! A floaty design ensures that the light doesn't catch the satin at an unflattering way. Sush is a little boring in yet another all-black ensemble, but at least black is safe color that's hard to do wrong.

Oops spoke too soon. Oh. My. God. Parmeshwar Godrej is a fright. Slim though she is, after a certain age I think it's a tad inappropriate to traipse around in a Hervé Léger dress so tight you have to be poured into it. This dress would have been better for Sush. That said, the dress is the least of my concerns with Madam Godrej - with her skin pulled back so tight and the orange tinge of her complexion, I have to be honest: I'm a little scared.

Apparently Ms. Godrej is a fan of this particular dress as she wore one in white (no more successfuly, I might add) back in March of 2008 at the Cartier International Polo Challenge in Dubai.

No body is looking good here:),Vidya in her Anarkali with loose sleeves is just too much,Ms. Godrej always looks like old hag,.
I have seen that most of the people who try to stay slim in advanced age, loose the charm at their face.

Yes, apparently Ms. Godrej isn't aware of the concept of aging gracefully. If I had to guess, I'd say she has had one too many cosmetic procedures done to her face - peels, lifts, tucks, etc. The result being a freakishly tight, orange colored face.

Meet Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan

The young, beautiful, and fashionable Queen of Bhutan, a country secluded from the world's limelight due to its remoteness, has already been generating a stir ever since her marriage to the King and her rise to the position of Queen Consort. She is a powerhouse in her own right, and much loved by the Bhutanese people. However, on a fun and superficial level, she has also drawn favorable comparisons to the Duchess of Cambridge, so much so, that she is sometimes referred to as the "Kate Middleton of the Himalayas".
So who is this Himalayan Queen? At 25-years-old, she is the youngest Queen Consort in the world. Like Kate, she was a commoner (though with an aristocratic lineage) and the daughter of a pilot. She is fashionable, athletic, and holds a university arts background. Additionally, she herself is a brand new mum, having recently given birth to a baby boy.
As with Wills and Kate, the King and Queen of Bhutan have always shown great respect for their country's cult…

Looking for a DiorShow Extase dupe

Getting 3 kiddos fed, dressed, and out the door on time on school mornings, is challenging on a good day. Between prepping breakfasts, packing lunches, double checking bags for homework, and generally refereeing Big A and S while simultaneously holding or nursing Little A, means I have precious little time to make myself presentable. As a result, mascara has taken the front and center stage of my makeup routine for rushed mornings because who has time to carefully paint on eyeliner?!
1. DiorShow Extase (discontinued) 2. IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara
I was crushed when Dior discontinued their Extase mascara. I adored it. The brush had the perfect shape, and unlike DiorShow or Blackout, this formulation was amenable to multiple, clump-free coats. Unfortunately, none of the current offerings in the Dior mascara lineup feature a similar brush to Extase. IT Cosmetics offered a comparable brush and sounded like it might be a good dupe. On the positive side, the m…

Two Faced Mascara Melt-Off

**UPDATED** We all love mascara that doesn't budge, but who enjoys nightly battles with mascara removal? Not I. Which is why I was excited to give this product a whirl. It promises quick, easy, and effective mascara removal. I simply applied a coat to my lashes using the kind of wand you would expect for lower lash mascaras. I let the product remain on my lashes as I washed my face (approx. two minutes). I used a cotton pad soaked in my favorite eye-makeup remover to gently sweep off the mascara.
The Mascara Melt-Off definitely speeds up the mascara removal process, with significantly less tugging and rubbing of lashes. I felt that the results were a more thorough mascara removal than makeup remover alone.

That said, the directions stated to use a cotton pad to wipe off the mascara; but I found that you most definitely need to soak the pad in your usual remover. Also, I should note that I tested it on non-waterproof mascara. I have no idea how effective it would be in the case of …
